A Company, which was established in 1834 and was instrumental in the development of the city of Kolkata, the then capital of India,
gradually diversified its activity in various other fields of Civil Construction and Engineering.
A glance at the Website will reveal the historical development of architectural features from the by gone era to the present day
architecture which truly introspects the historical development and social ramifications.
I sincerely thank the Management and staff of Mackintosh Burn Limited , without whose help it would not have been possible to launch this website.
